49th DPS Meeting

Registration
Meeting registration is open and the early registration deadline is quickly approaching! Register by 31 July to avoid higher rates. Find all of the details on the Registration page. Don't forget to take a look at the workshops and events happening during the meeting, too — some require advance registration.

Abstracts
Late abstract submission will open Monday, 31 July. Submit your poster abstract by 9:00 pm on 31 August to be added to the meeting program. Everything you need to know to submit your abstract is available on the Abstract Information page. If you’re submitting a poster abstract, consider presenting an iPoster instead of a traditional poster to include high-res images, videos, narration, and more.

Lodging
The AAS has a block of rooms at the Provo Marriott Hotel available for meeting attendees. Hotel reservations must be made by 20 September to ensure the group rate. Check out the Travel & Lodging page for more information.

Grants
The DPS Susan Niebur Professional Development Fund provides financial assistance to qualifying members in order to facilitate their meeting attendance by offsetting costs for dependent care at the meeting location or at home during the DPS meeting. Dependent Care Grant applications are due 15 September.

Workshops
If you’re interested in hosting a workshop during the DPS meeting, be sure to submit your proposal by 28 August.

Exhibiting & Sponsorship
Join the growing list of missions and companies exhibiting at the 49th DPS meeting. Meet face-to-face with participants and demonstrate your latest research tools, science results, and archives. The DPS appreciates the support of sponsoring institutions, and there are still many high profile sponsorships available. More information is available on the Exhibiting & Sponsorship Opportunities page.
