49th DPS Meeting

Registration
Registration for the meeting is now open! The early deadline is 31 July, so register by that date to avoid higher fees. Find all of the rates and details on the Registration page. Don’t forget to take a look at the workshops and events happening during the meeting, too — some require advance registration.

Abstracts
Submit your oral or poster abstract by 9:00 pm ET on 26 July to be added to the meeting program. If you miss that deadline, poster abstracts will be accepted until the 31 August late deadline. Everything you need to know to submit your abstract is available on the Abstract Information page. If you’re submitting a poster abstract, consider presenting an iPoster instead of a traditional poster to include high-res images, videos, narration, and more.

Lodging
The AAS has a block of rooms at the Provo Marriott Hotel & Convention Center available for meeting attendees. Hotel reservations must be made by 20 September to ensure the group rate. Check out the Travel & Lodging page for more information.

Grants
A limited number of Hartmann Student Travel Grants are available to assist students planning to attend the DPS meeting. Applications are due Wednesday, 19 July.

The DPS Susan Niebur Professional Development Fund provides financial assistance to qualifying members in order to facilitate their meeting attendance by offsetting costs for dependent care at the meeting location or at home during the DPS meeting. Dependent Care Grant applications are due 15 September.

Workshops
If you’re interested in hosting a workshop during the DPS meeting, be sure to submit your proposal by 28 August.

See you in Provo!
