Educators Are Invited to Explore Exploding Stars with Rubin Observatory!

You are invited to explore exploding stars with Rubin Observatory!
Vera C. Rubin Observatory will partner with the American Astronomical Society for a free online workshop for educators on Saturday, 27 July, from 8 to 11 am PT (11 am to 2 pm ET). During this webinar, participants will become familiar with the new data and analysis tools in the Exploding Stars investigation along with supplementary resources such as videos, a phenomenon, and assessments. Participants will have the opportunity to ask science questions of a professional astronomer who is familiar with supernova data and discuss classroom implementation with colleagues.
Certificates of participation for three hours of professional development are available from Rubin Observatory to those who attend the complete workshop in real time. The workshop will be recorded for those who wish to view it later.
