The Department of Physics and the University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, with competitive startup, salary, and benefit packages. The candidate's research should be in the area of extragalactic astrophysics. Candidates are expected to develop a vigorous and externally funded research program, teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor student research, and provide service to the department, university and community.
