Job Description

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Assistant III to conduct research in Gravitational Wave Astrophysics. The Postdoctoral Research Assistant will work with researchers at UAH and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center to develop prototype data analysis algorithms and study the science capabilities of the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna. 

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, or related field with 2 - 2 1/2 years of full-time verifiable work experience (GRA experience counts). Candidates with 1 to 3 years of postdoctoral research in a data science intensive field are particularly encouraged to apply.
