The Observatory is home to numerous active instrumentation research programs working at radio to UV wavelengths, with ground-based, balloon, and space mission applications. Additional information about the Department, Steward Observatory, its facilities, personnel, and ongoing research and instrumentation developments is available on its web page: http://www.as.arizona.edu. Potential applicants are welcome to contact relevant research groups at the Observatory to discuss their ideas and/or existing projects, or to contact the search chair ([email protected]) for referrals to appropriate groups.
