Job Description
The newly established Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics at Fudan University, which is one of the top universities in China with particular strengths in science, invites applications for faculty positions at the tenure-track and tenured levels. All areas of astronomy and astrophysics will be considered, with preference given to galaxy formation and evolution, exoplanet, and high-energy astrophysics. The positions are open to researchers of all nationalities, and will provide internationally competitive salary, housing subsidy, and start-up funds.
The successful applicant should have a PhD in Astronomy or a related field and a record of excellence in research, a commitment to teaching astronomy and astrophysics at advanced undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Interested applicants are requested to submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a brief summary outlining their previous research and future research plan, and arrange three reference letters to be sent directly to Prof. Feng Yuan at [email protected].
