Job Description
The Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Materials Science at Missouri State University seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position. This is a one-year appointment for the Academic Year 2025-2026. A PhD in physics, astrophysics, or a related field is required at time of the position start. This is a teaching position: the successful candidate will teach physics and/or astronomy courses at all undergraduate levels for physics majors, other science majors, and education majors. The anticipated starting date is mid-August 2025.
