Job Description
Description The Department of Physics at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Cosmology and related areas at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in Fall 2026.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Texas Center for Cosmology & Astroparticle Physics (TCCAP) within the Weinberg Institute for Theoretical Physics, joining a vibrant research community with opportunities for collaboration within the Weinberg Institute (the Center for Gravitational Physics, the High Energy Physics Theory Group), the Department of Astronomy, and the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences. UT Austin also hosts the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), home to some of the world’s most powerful supercomputing resources.
Qualifications Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
