Davis Postdoctoral Fellowship in Astrophysics

The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University invites applications for the Davis Postdoctoral Fellowship in all areas of Astrophysics.

JHU Astrophysics faculty with whom the successful applicants may collaborate include: Charles Bennett (experimental and observational cosmology), Emanuele Berti (gravitational physics and astrophysics), Timothy Heckman (active galaxies and quasars), Marc Kamionkowski (theoretical cosmology), Julian Krolik (theoretical high-energy astrophysics), Tobias Marriage (cosmic microwave background), Brice Menard (observational cosmology and surveys), David Neufeld (molecular astrophysics and interstellar medium), Colin Norman (theoretical and observational astrophysics), Adam Riess (physical cosmology), Kevin Schlaufman (exoplanets, planet formation, metal-poor stars, and Milky Way formation), David Sing (exoplanets and their atmospheres), Alexander Szalay (galaxy formation and surveys), Rosemary Wyse (galaxy evolution), Nadia Zakamska (Galactic and extragalactic astronomy), as well as nearly 40 research faculty, scientists and postdoctoral scholars.

Johns Hopkins University is a member of SDSS IV, ACT, ACTPol and PIPER, Subaru Prime Focus Spectrograph, Euclid, LSST, and WFIRST, and is home to the Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor team. We seek intellectually ambitious candidates with initiative and demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
