Job Description

The Department of Astronomy at the University of Michigan welcomes applications for a post-doctoral position, to work with Prof. Keren Sharon, for a period of one year with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.  The start date is flexible, as early as January 2024.

Applicants should have interest, experience, and/or applicable expertise in strong gravitational lensing. Experience and/or skills in lens modeling of galaxy clusters is an advantage. The successful applicant will work on several projects using data from HST and JWST. A Ph.D. is required prior to the start date of the position.
