Childcare grants are available from the AAS for up to $250 per family for those who need financial assistance to fully attend the Women in Astronomy IV (WiA IV) meeting. Funds may be used for onsite childcare, support person travel (partner or otherwise), additional childcare costs at home incurred due to your absence (babysitters, grandparent travel, partner time-off), or other situations. Parents are responsible for making arrangements for childcare. To apply for a childcare grant, please fill out the Child Care Grant Application below. If requests exceed available funding, preference will be given to those in the early stages of their careers.
