HEAD 13 Oral Presentation File Hosting

As part of HEAD's 13th Divisional Meeting in Monterey, California (April 7-11, 2013), we are hosting, on a trial basis, presentation files from oral presentations that were included in the meeting program. This includes oral presentations in Contributed Sessions, Special Sessions, and Plenary Talks.
The deadline for inclusion online is 8 May, 2013.
If you would like to update your presentation file from what was presented at the meeting, please upload an updated file at http://speakerready.aas.org/talks. We are unable to accept new files after the 8 May, 2013 deadline.

The American Astronomical Society (the “Society”) desires to record, broadcast and otherwise disseminate the presentations, talks and discussions at its meetings to further its mission to enhance and share humanity’s understanding of the universe. Therefore, the Society requests and I, the undersigned, agree to give the Society and its successors and assigns, the non-exclusive and irrevocable right to
1. use information concerning me, including my name, biographical information, photographic, audio and video depiction or other representation, my likeness, and any statements, remarks, information, depictions, or works provided by me at a Society sponsored meeting, (collectively my “Profile”), in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other content, and
2. use, re-use, reproduce, broadcast, publish, edit any materials or works including or employing my Profile, by any means electronic or otherwise, including audio or audio-video works that the Society may create for educational purposes or otherwise to further its mission, (collectively the “Materials”) or to prepare derivative works therefrom,
for any purpose consistent with its mission. I am granting the Society these rights without any limitation as to time, territory or medium. I waive any right that I might have to inspect or approve the Materials or any derivative works, advertising copy or other content that uses the Materials, derivative works, or my Profile. I understand that the Society will not provide me with or return any of the Materials or other information or content that I provide.
I am over 18 years old and have the legal right to grant these rights to the Society. I represent that no other person’s or entity’s consent is necessary for the Society to use my Profile and that the Society may use my Profile without violating the rights of someone else or the law. I agree to indemnify and save harmless the Society, its officers, directors, employees and agents against any and all claims arising out of or resulting from the Society’s use of my Profile as permitted herein.
I acknowledge and agree that the Society has the sole and exclusive right to any works that it creates using the Materials or my Profile. I understand that the Society has no obligation to use the Materials or my Profile and that I will not receive any further compensation or consideration for their use.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the District of Columbia and I consent to the jurisdiction of its courts for any disputes arising under this agreement.
