Thank you for your interest in the Astronomy Ambassadors program, which supports early-career AAS/DPS members in improving their communication skills and provides access to resources and contacts for doing outreach to school children and the public. The Astronomy Ambassadors program will conduct a one-day workshop at the 46th DPS meeting in Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday, 9 November 2014.
Applications for the Tucson workshop are now closed; the deadline of Thursday, 11 September 2014, has passed. The next AAS Astronomy Ambassadors workshop — a full two-day version — will be held at the 225th AAS meeting in Seattle, Washington, 3-4 January 2015.
