231st AAS Meeting Volunteer Information

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the upcoming 231st AAS meeting in Washington, DC. We love getting help from undergrads, grads, postdocs, and local amateur astronomers to supervise sessions, help at registration, usher at events, and help with various other odd (but greatly appreciated) jobs. This is a great chance to meet and mingle with your peers, get up to date on the newest science, and pick up some cool freebies in the Exhibit Hall.

Volunteers that sign up to work a minimum of 10 hours will each receive complimentary meeting registration, a volunteer t-shirt, and access to the Exhibit Hall and all the sessions. If you fill in the form below, you will be contacted in early November with schedule sign-ups. Scheduling will happen on a first come, first serve basis — filling out this form does not guarantee a volunteer position.

Please note that new volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation on Monday, 8 January, at 10:00 am.

Please contact Sherrie Brown with any questions.
