HEAD 13 Child Care Grants

The HEAD Executive Committee, along with the AAS, are committed to helping HEAD members with young children be able to attend the HEAD meeting.

HEAD childcare grant applications for up to $400, and are due by Thursday, 7 March, 2013.

AAS 208th Meeting - Calgary, AB

The 208th Meeting of the American Astronomical Society was held at both the Calgary Telus Convention Center (120 Ninth Ave. SE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2G OP3) and the Hyatt Regency (700 Centre Street SE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2G 5P6).

The Canadian Astronomical Society (CASCA) also met in Calgary, 1-4 June 2006.

Approximately 650 people attended this meeting.

HEAD 2013 Evening Splinter Proposal Form

The splinter meeting concept is provided as a service to HEAD attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Splinter meetings are typically small group meetings held to discuss mission planning, collaborative science efforts or other non-science issues. They are not meant to replace science sessions at the meeting and will not be widely advertised by HEAD as meeting content.
