Volunteer at the Summer Meeting and Receive Complimentary Registration

228th AAS meetingDo you have some extra time 12-16 June, want to be more involved in the next AAS summer meeting, and love free t-shirts? Then you should volunteer!

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the 228th meeting of the American Astronomical Society in San Diego, California, 12-16 June. Undergrads, grads, postdocs, local amateur astronomers, and others are invited to help the AAS supervise sessions, assist at registration, usher at events, and help with various other odd (but greatly appreciated) jobs. This is a great chance to meet and mingle with your peers, get up to date on the latest developments in astronomy, and pick up some cool freebies in the Exhibit Hall.

Volunteers who sign up to work a minimum of 10 hours receive complimentary meeting registration, volunteer t-shirts, and access to the Exhibit Hall and all sessions. If you complete the volunteer form, you will be guaranteed a volunteer spot. We will reach out with more details on scheduling as the meeting approaches.

Please note that new volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation on Sunday, 12 June, at 10:00 am.

Please contact Kathy Cox with any questions.
