The Director, Research Program Management Division reports directly to the Associate Administrator for Space Science. The incumbent oversees a staff of 25 program scientists and is responsible for the planning and implementation of the Office of Space Sciences (OSS) research program.

2. NSF INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH FELLOW PROGRAM

Deadline: 1 November 1998

The international division of the National Science Foundation administers a program to introduce scientist and engineers  in the early stages of their careers to research opportunities  abroad. The program provides support to carry out research at  science and engineering establishments in foreign countries for  periods of three to 24 months.
