To foster community understanding of and support for the recommendations of the Astro 2010 Decadal Survey, "New Worlds, New Horizons," the AAS has coordinated a series of Town Halls with regional hosts so that a Decadal Survey member can present the results in a forum that enables questions and discussion at the individual level.

All AAS members within easy driving distance are encouraged to attend these events. Future regional Town Halls will be announced to the whole membership using the Informational Email format as their plans are finalized.

At the January AAS meeting in Seattle, a culminating Town Hall event will cap off this series. You can register now to attend the AAS Seattle meeting by visiting the AAS web pages at aas.org/meetings/aas217/registration/.
