Standard stellar models for \eta Boo fail to reproduce the observed low frequency p-modes from space and the high frequency p-modes observed from ground, simultaneously. This discrepancy can be mitigated by including turbulence in the modeling of the outer layers of \eta Boo. We present new results of our full 3D turbulent convection simulation of \eta Boo's outer layers. With these simulations we are able to answer the question whether the discrepancy between models and observations can be fully attributed to the effects of turbulence.
