[4.27] The X-ray Spectral Properties of the z=3.91 BAL Quasar APM08279+5255

We present detailed spectral and temporal analysis results of Chandra and XMM-Newton data of the gravitationally lensed z=3.91 quasar APM08279+5255. We study the unique properties of the relativistic X-ray outflow discovered in this system in relation to the multiwavelength properties inferred from the optical, UV, and the infrared. We also briefly discuss our attempts to construct a dynamical model for the source.
