[41.07] MIPS Observations of Debris Disks around Vega and Epsilon Eridani

We will present the first high spatial resolution 24, 70 and 160 um images of Vega and Epsilon Eridani. The observations were obtained with the Multiband Imaging Photometer for the Spitzer Space Telescope (MIPS). Vega and Epsilon Eridani, along with Beta Pictoris and Fomalhaut, are the so-called "Fabulous Four" debris stars discovered by IRAS. With the sensitivity and angular resolution of the Spitizer Space Telescope, we can map the structure of these nearby debris disks in great detail for the first time, and compare the structure to existing sub-mm maps. These data will provide valuable new constraints on models of these debris disks.
