[8.12] Differences in the sound-speed profiles of active and quiet regions

We determine differences in the sound-speed profiles of isolated active regions and nearby quiet areas. We use frequencies of high-degree modes determined from from ring-diagram analyses for this work. We that below a certain depth, the sound-speed below an active region is higher than that of a quiet region.
