## [56.05] A Search for Small-Scale Anisotropy in the Cosmic Microwave Background

M. Dragovan, G. Griffin, H. Nguyen, J. Peterson, G. Tucker (AAS)

Five overlapping regions are observations at 90 GHz with the White Dish telescope operating at the South Pole. Harmonic analysis of the temperature fluctuations reveals a 204 $\mu$K peak-to-peak difference in one of the five regions. Assuming the signal is due to cosmic background anisotropy, the 90-percent confidence limit on gaussian-correlated anisotropy is $\Delta T = 3.7^{+4.6}_{-1.4} \, \, T_{CMB}$. We review efforts underway to identify the origin of the source.
