We will discuss the instrumentation and data analysis for the PYTHON microwave background anisotropy experiment. This instrument was used at the South Pole from 1/1 to 1/15 1993 for observations of the microwave sky at a frequency of 90~GHz. The telescope has a FWHM beam of $45'$, and a chop of $2.75^\circ$.
