The most recent Electronic Alert contained incorrect information regarding the planned Mauna Kea tours at the upcoming summer meeting of the American Astronomical Society. Here is the updated information on this tour.

AAS HAWAII MEETING POST MEETING TRIP TO MAUNA KEA
The AAS is organizing pre- and post-meeting trips to Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii on Saturday, 26 May and Friday, 1 June 2007. Only a 35 minute flight from Honolulu, you'll have an opportunity to visit the Observatories at Mauna Kea and the new 'Imiloa Astronomy Education Center of Hawaii. Ground transportation and lunch will be included in cost of the trip (to be announced). Each day will include two groups -- the first departing from Hilo for a morning visit at the summit area and the second leaving later in the morning for an afternoon visit. Weather permitting, each group will visit two Observatory facilities (specific observatories to be announced). All participants must be in good health and over the age of 16. Pregnant women and those with respiratory, heart and severe obesity are not allowed inside summit facilities. Warm clothing is advised. All participants must check-in the night before. Airline and housing options will be posted soon. An optional extension to Maui will be offered following the June 1st tour.
