The AAS CD-ROM Series was launched in January 1993, and over the five years that followed, nine volumes of digital data were released. The contents of those nine disks are published here online.

The AAS Newsletter is published online in January, March, June, August, October and December.
Some Newsletter back-issues are available in PDF. Since the Newsletter is distributed as a benefit of membership in the AAS, current issues will not be posted.
Provided free to all members, the annual AAS Wall Calendar highlights important astronomical events month by month. The AAS is now seeking sponsors and key dates and deadlines for the 2014 edition.
The AAS is pleased to announce the "soft-launch" of our new website and member communication system, which represents the culmination of very large amount of work by members of the AAS staff and external contractors over the past year and more. We will be rolling out the website and its new functionality over the coming months, so stay tuned for some exciting new features.

Title: Enter the title for your article, capitalize each important word.
Type: Enter the type of article using the pull down menu. Most will be “News”
AAS Members may submit news items, events and deadlines for potential publication on the AAS website and distribution to the AAS membership.
Members may choose to be notified when new information is posted on the AAS website.
List includes AAS journal, publication and email notifications.
The AAS is happy to announce its second annual report in a new format, published electronically apart from the BAAS. The 2010 Annual Report is available at http://aas.org/publications/annual_report.
For future years, the report will be available in July each year for the year prior. This is due to needing Council approval of the audit report for the prior year before we include the financial results in the annual report. Comments or questions about the annual report are welcome publications@aas.org.
A summary of AAS activities is published each August.
The AAS has a surplus of books. We offer them to members on a first-come first-served basis. A flat shipping and handling fee of $10.00 per book applies. Discounted shipping may be available for bulk orders. Please fill out the book order form. Direct questions to Tracy Rowe.

The Society publishes four scholarly journals and disseminates information to members through a variety of publications.

The AAS Newsletter is published online six times a year.

The AAS maintains an online Calendar and distributes a printed Membership Calendar. The online Calendar includes important dates, such as proposal and grant deadlines and astronomical meetings. The printed Membership Calendar includes important dates and AAS sponsored meetings.
Sponsors receive selection of a photo layout page, 250 words of text and sponsorship recognition in the calendar front matter. For only $2,250, your institution or department can show support for the whole astronomical community and be featured prominently in astronomers' offices across the country.
Sponsors and potential sponsors for future AAS calendars are reminded that sponsorship space is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups interested in sponsoring a month may contact Crystal Tinch for more information and pricing details. Deadline for sponsorship is 1 September.
